About

A little about me

My love for photography is a creative outlet to complement my “day job” in cancer genetics research & clinical care.  I started with portraits for family and friends, took photography classes whenever I could, and soon discovered my passion for wildlife and landscapes.

I enjoy the intersection of science and art – learning about endemic species, ecosystems and unique landscapes (and I certainly have a soft spot for Sable Island in Nova Scotia, Canada!

I love when my photos help the viewer feel a connection to the subject or remind them of their own treasured moment. It is even better when building these connections raises awareness of environmental issues and drives conservation efforts.

Thank you for your interest – I welcome the opportunity to connect!
